Abstract:
This project will produce a web-based curriculum of research projects and experiments to be used by students enrolled in several courses. The homepage will present an index of experiments organized by topical areas. Each area will be a compilation of external websites where either (a) online research studies are available or (b) computer-based software for designing and conducting experiments will be downloaded. This lab curriculum will allow students to (a) participate (as a "subject") in many of the discipline's important experiments and to (b) design/modify experiments for independent or group research projects. The web experiments and software will sample topics from sensation, perception, memory, learning, language, cognition, personality, social psychology, and industrial/organizational psychology.
